Situated underneath Charing Cross Train Station, Champagne Charlies is one of our traditional styled Ale and Port Houses, with candle lit tables and sawdust covered floors, a perfect place to meet.
A wide range of Char Grilled dishes are served in the Dining Room, from midday to 2.30pm and then 5pm until 9.30pm, and a hot and cold bar menu is available throughout the day.
A wide range of Davy’s Own Label quality House Wines are available, alternatively you may prefer a pewter tankard or copper jug of Davy’s Old Wallop, our Real Ale. Vintage Ports are also decanted daily and available by the bottle or glass.
We also offer additional fine wines from the Cellar.
Champagne Charlies has a Private Function room, which can be booked for parties of up to 45; the whole bar can be reserved for a private event for up to 250 people at the weekends. A superb venue for a party, whatever the occasion.
Contact the wine bar direct for details of our current Evening Dining offer and the next Quiz Night.
Champagne Charlies is named after a famous Victorian music hall song - composed by George Leybourne. He is said to have made a tidy sum of money for including the names of various champagne houses in the lyrics each time it was performed!
