The City Boot is a traditional wine bar close to the Barbican on the Walkway above Moorgate Underground Station.

A light and airy bar supplying a good range of well filled sandwiches, pates, and cheeses. Charming and attentive service in the dining room provides more substantial English Fayre.

We have an excellent wine list, including a fine range of Davy’s Own Label House Wines. An excellent range of Champagne is always available, as are a number of Vintage Ports which are decanted daily and available by bottle or glass.  Davy's Old Wallop and Draft Asahi are also available.

We also offer additional fine wines from the Cellar.

A Boot from which City Boot derives its name, is a leather vessel in which a bottle of wine is placed before “flogging” in the cork.
