For over 300 years English merchants have shipped Port to our shores. Known as a fortified wine due to the addition of grape brandy during fermentation. This prematurely stops the fermentation process resulting in intense sweet wine high in alcohol. The quality and enjoyment that port delivers make it one of the best value wines around.
