Chateau Rauzan Segla 2eme Cru Classé Margaux 1996

Rauzan Segla is a 51 Ha estate that dates back to the 1600's owned by Chanel since 1994. The wine is made up mostly of Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot/Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The 1996 is outstanding with wonderful dark fruit caracters on the nose with light floral notes and a hint of nuttiness. The palate is fine and elegant with finesse and beauty drinking superbly today.
