Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru La Boudriotte Jean-Noel Gagnard 2004

The appellation of Chassagne Montrachet holds over 40 producers and one of the very best is Jean-Noel Gagnard.  The La Boudriotte gives off a fabulous nose of creme brulee, warm buttered toast and baked apples.  There are bright citrus fruits on the palate along with fresh apples and pears and lovely minerality. Only 300 cases of this vintage were made. Drinking in its prime now.
