Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots Frederic Magnien 2002

Frederic Magnien started his negocient business in the 1990's after having worked in the New World as a wine maker for some top wineries. He works closely with growers choosing only premium fruit. His style is somewhat modern with bold ripe inviting fruit and noticable oak. Les Suchots is a prime 1er Cru vineyard situated between the Grand Crus, Richebourg, Romanée St Vivant and Echezeaux. The 2002 is ageing nicely and shows deep blueberry and crimson fruit with lively acidity and lick of spice.
