Chateauneuf du Pape Chateau de Beaucastel Perrin 2000 South Rhone
Chateauneuf du Pape is made primarily with 30% each of Grenache and Mouvedre with several other varieties such as Cinsault and Syrah, being blended in after malolactic fermentation. This full bodied wine produced from organically-grown grapes, has intense ripe fruits on the nose accompanied by mineral, earthy and herbaceous undertones on the palate. Ideal with rich meaty dishes. May be cellared until 2014.
