Calling all art lovers!

Davy’s at Canary Wharf is now hosting monthly PopUp Painting sessions, generally on the first Tuesday of every month.

The next session will be Tuesday 12th July, when we will be setting up our easels to paint Vincent Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night.  Book your tickets here.

The evenings are not art classes, but a fun evening out, giving guests the opportunity to try something new and unleash their creative energy in our informal and friendly  environment.   Each session uses a different popular and iconic piece of artwork as inspiration and the host, always a practising artist, provides step-by-step guidance on how to re-create it.  It’s all about bringing art out of the classroom and giving you the chance to unleash your creative energy.   So, don’t worry if you’re totally new to art – everyone is welcome.

You will paint on canvas on the evening using desktop easels and acrylic paints.  At the end of the evening, you will take your completed canvasses home.  The evenings typically last two and a half hours, including a much-deserved break for a glass of wine.

Tickets include all art supplies (canvas, palette for mixing, paint (acrylic), brushes, aprons).  Drinks are available for purchase at the bar and there is 10% discount on food for those dining before or afterwards.  For more information and to book, visit the PopUp Painting website. We look forward to painting with you soon.

“Lots of fun. Step-by-step painting whilst sipping wine, then you get to leave with your masterpiece whilst someone else clears up!”
