The return of the City Boot

We’re delighted to announce that square mile favourite the City Boot, forced to close in 2015 after 41 years due to building redevelopment, will be re-opening on Thursday 29th September 2016. The new location, close to the Museum of London, is only a short stroll from its original home in Moorgate.

Wine lovers can look forward to an extensive wine list, predominantly selected from interesting small producers, many of which are exclusive to Davy’s. The entire wine list will also be available to take away from “The Cellar Door”.

James Davy, Chairman of Davy’s said:

City Boot was an old favourite with many around Moorgate, for a hearty lunch or after-work drinks, before it sadly had to close. Our customers at the new London Wall site can look forward to the much of the character of the original City Boot with comfortable contemporary touches.”
