Housed in a grade II listed building in historic Royal Greenwich, Davy’s Wine Vaults is a wedding venue like no other.

As you step through the door, you will instantly be struck by the unique character and charm of Davy’s Wine Vaults. Many of the building’s original features have been carefully restored while antique curiosities and historic wine artefacts, accumulated by five generations of the Davy family, are displayed throughout.

Spread across two floors, we have the flexibility to bring your vision to life, whether you are planning a wedding celebration for 180 people with music and dancing, or a more intimate occasion for close friends and family.

We believe that the key to the perfect wedding celebration is careful planning, attention to detail and impeccable service. We have been hosting all manner of wedding events and celebrations for 150 years. From your initial enquiry, through to the big day itself, your dedicated wedding planner will work with you to create memories of your special day that will last a lifetime.

The Venue

We are able to cater for weddings large and small.

Both the ground floor restaurant and The Cooperage, in the building’s Victorian cellars, will make an atmospheric setting for a larger wedding breakfast. Each area can be re-set for your evening reception. The Victoria Room is perfect for smaller celebrations, while vintage leather booths and the many cosy, candle-lit corners make popular break-out areas for any evening reception. The outdoor terrace at the front and back is covered by a large canopy so suitable come rain or shine.

We offer a modern take on classic British cooking, using carefully chosen ingredients to create quality dishes for each of our wedding menus. Seasonality is very important to us so, each of our menu packages feature dishes made with the freshest produce of the season, from our favourite suppliers.

Our menus can be flexible to cater to your tastes and the season, anything from sharing roasts with a joint of your choice to outdoor BBQs for couples who want something a little different.

Our unique relationship with the world’s finest winemakers and châteaux now go back five generations and we still select and ship our own wines. Many are exclusive to us, sourced from critically acclaimed, boutique producers around the world. For those non-wine drinkers we have a large selection of craft beers and classic cocktails available.

Our expert team will create the perfect selection to suit your palate and your budget, from welcome drinks, to wines matched with your menu, including our impressive selection of vintage wines, large formats and after dinner Sherry, Port and Madeira.
