Truckles of Pied Bull Yard
A wine bar and restaurant located in a quiet courtyard, just a stone’s throw from the British Museum, Truckles of Pied Bull Yard offers you a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of Holborn and Bloomsbury. With its large windows and light, airy feel, Truckles is a popular local choice if you’re for a good meal and glass of wine, or after-work drinks; while the attractive outdoor area is the place to be when the sun shines.
On the menu, you will find modern British cooking with dishes made using fresh, seasonal produce, which is UK and locally sourced wherever possible. Head to the bar and explore the diverse wine list, craft beer selection and refreshing cocktails. The ideal spot for drinks and dinner parties close to Bloomsbury and Holborn, Truckles has various bookable spaces in the ground-floor dining area while the cellar event space with private bar can cater for larger parties of up to 100 people. Events are our bread and butter and at Truckles and we have now been hosting parties and events for more than 30 years. Private events can be booked in an area of the bar or terrace, for drinks or sit-down meals, while the atmospheric cellar bar can be hired exclusively, seven days a week, and is perfect for larger events including dinners, receptions, networking events and all types of celebrations.
